Benjamin de Beauregard, Pomerol
Region: Pomerol, Right Bank Bordeaux
Grape Varietal: 75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc
Tasting Notes:
An attractive garnet hue with ruby glints. On the nose, this wine reveals a complex array of aromas with ripe, red berry fruit, menthol freshness and a spicy note. As the wine opens up, an elegant, delicate touch of violets enhances the whole. A hedonistic and harmonious attack on the palate develops with a round and velvety tannic structure. Lovely freshness in the finish provides good length of delicious flavour. High quality, delicately managed ageing enabled an added touch of toast without masking the natural complexity of the wine. This wine can be enjoyed during its youth but also after several years’ ageing in bottle.

Chateau Simard, Saint-Émilion
Region: Saint-Émilion, Right Bank Bordeaux
Grape Varietal: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc
Tasting Notes:
Chateau Simard has been in the Vauthier family, owners of Chateau Ausone, since 1954 and its chalky, gravely soils produce wines particularly elegant and expressive of its fine terroir. This is soft, attractive and deliciously fruity. It has soft tannins and lively acidity. With black currants and red-cherry fruits, it is going to be a bright wine that will age relatively quickly.
Saint-Émilion Grand Cru.
Chateau Barreyres Cru Bourgeois
Region: Haut Medoc, Left Bank Bordeaux
Grape Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
Tasting Notes:
An intense, almost glassy darkness immerses the taster in a moment of reflection. The nose, with its deep fruit aromas, imposes its will through force of persuasion. Smooth aromas of peony, vanilla and Autumn spices are balanced by notes of redcurrant. On the palette, this Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois is at once powerful, silky and lively. The finish is long and balanced, with pleasant oak offering notes of tobacco and promising remarkable aging potential.
