THE VALLEY AND THE VINEYARDS
The vineyards that give life to this wine are located in one of Chile’s most extensive and diverse winegrowing regions. The Rapel valley (situated in the Central Valley) is characterized by its climatic variety and a soil of great viticultural aptitude. The vineyard is trained using standard VSP techniques and drip irrigation in order to keep the plants’ natural vigor under control. The load is adjusted during bud breaking to maintain yields at 10 tons per hectare. The canopy is gently thinned, leaving clusters exposed to the morning sun only.

VINIFICATION
Alcoholic fermentation is conducted under controlled conditions in stainless steel tanks at 28º C and using select yeasts. Post-fermentation maceration lasts 10 days at 25º C, while malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously at 20º C.
