Tasting Notes:
Intense ruby red, with a penetrating bouquet of mature wild berries, spices, cocoa and leather. Full, warm, austere flavour, with sweet and succulent tannins. The perfect accompaniment for mixed grills, game, mushroom- and truffle-based dishes, and mature cheeses.
Twenty-five day maceration at 30°C, followed by malolactic fermentation and a 24-month maturation in 500-litre French oak tonneaux and a further 36 months in the bottle. Potential ageing for more than 20 years.
