Nose: Very intense and fruity with notes of red fruit, raspberry, blackcurrant, blueberry and blackberry, mingled with spicy aromas of thyme, dill, cayenne pepper and subtle, enchanting nuances of Virginia tobacco, coffee, and pastry imparted by barrel ageing.
Palate: A very complex wine, which is luscious, delicious and powerful on the palate with good volume and balance. Fruity aromas of blueberries and blackcurrant follow through to the long finish, underpinned by excellent acidity.
