McGuigan Reserve Black Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting Notes
This wine displays aromas d ark berries, plum and cherries with hints of spice and herbal notes. A fruit forward wine with well integrated oak, giving velvety tannins. The herbal notes are balanced by hints of cedar which provide a well rounded finish.

Food Pairing
This luscious wine is an ideal pairing for red meat dishes such as roast lamb, braised beef or even a rich mushroom pasta.

Winemaking
The fruit was crushed to red fermenters where it was fermented on oak at cool temperatures for 5-7 days. Fermenting at cooler temperatures allows the fruit flavours to be nurtured and enables retention of varietal characteristics. Post fermentation parcels of the wine are matured in stainless steel tanks, with other parcels spending time in Oak barrel.
