The fruit was sourced from trellised vines in the Stellenbosch, Paarl and coastal wine growing regions of the Western Cape, South Africa. Situated at altitudes ranging between 100m and 500m above sea level, these healthy vines grow mainly in deep red soils with sandy loam, on south-facing vineyard slopes.
