Tobermory 12 Year Old
Matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks, Tobermory 12 Year Old has a vibrant, fruity and spicy character with a subtle, salty edge. This Hebridean single malt has sweet, honeyed aromas of vanilla, pears, ripe oranges and with a subtle floral note.
The palate offers notes of fresh citrus, apples and tropical fruits, followed by creamy toffee, floral honey and a subtly, salty undercurrent.
Launched in 2019, Tobermory 12 Year Old following the reopening of the distillery, after it closed for two years to undergo extensive refurbishments. The re-launched Tobermory has bottlings, inspired by the colours of the Isle of Mull.
At the Tobermory Distillery, they produce two distinct single malts made for half the year each: a non-peated Tobermory and a heavily-peated Ledaig. Each malt reflects the inspiring island – from the bright, vibrant and fruity Tobermory to the more robust, peated Ledaig, with sweet smoke and earthy notes.
